That's not that bad. When I used to be a bouncer, I once ID'ed (In NY, you have to be 21 to drink, and in the case of my bar, even get in) a lady who turned out to be 34.
I felt pretty bad at first, even though I realized the whole debacle was quite a compliment to her. The funniest part is that she then came over and flirted w/ me a couple times during the night, so obviously she wasn't ashamed of my mistake either.
Worst I've ever been mistaken for was when I was 20 and working at Walmart at night. Another employee there used to friendly-flirt with everyone, but one day she came up and seriously asked how old I was while we were colelcting carts outside. She guessed 29.... yeesh.
That's what I get for growing the semi-beard though, I guess.
Oddly enough, despite the fact that most people guess I'm older than I am, I still get carded when buying a movie or something about once a year. I guess the facial hair makes me look like the underage guy TRYING to look older. Which isn't completely untrue. If I shave my face, I look like a big 16 year old.
