Nut protection?

Hey, I'm going to start learning jiu jitsu formally fairly soon, but me and my buddies roll a few times a week doing submission and positioning work as well as some wrestling. We keep accidentally hitting each other in the nuts with feet, hands, whatever, and was wondering what fighters actually use?

Do sprawl shorts or something similar have space for protection? I'd like to get something effective (and comfortable) to train in. I never remember this kind of contact happening so frequently in wrestling, but we definitely keep nut tapping each other and I'd prefer my boys to stay nice and safe.

I will end up wearing a gi for jiu jitsu most likely, so if I did in fact get fight shorts, they'd have to be saved for no-gi practice.

you get a cup and jock strap, nowadays you can get cup holders that are like tighty whities or boxer briefs. i got a cup and tighty wighty holder for like 10 bucks at big 5. need to get a diff. cup holder like the boxer brief style though cus i don't like wedgies.

but ya i felt your pain, when my guard gets passed id get a knee sliding right over my leg smashing my dick, whenever i did armbars id be cranking down and extending right on my package, get a cup asap before you get hurt.

cup and mouthguard are important, you will get accidental knees and elbows in the face a lot when rolling

make sure you get a cup that fits correctly, if you get them too big the edges kinda smash into where your pelvis/legs meet
