Nogi Rashguard Short intial review w. Pics

First off let me just say i am blown away but the speed at which i received this purchase. I had to check my email to make sure of the date and sure enough Date : 26 Nov 2005 - 19:18 i come home just now its sitting on my table and i leave near chicago so i am not down the block Cali. So 4 days only from their inbox to my table unreal. Ok that being said review time

First Rashguard Front

Rashguard Back

The one i chose was the Black Short Sleeve Blade. This is my first rashguard from nogi and i couldnt be more pleased. First i bought it on sale, so i got it for 18.75 and the quality is really high. I have had some more expensive drifit rashguards from nike and others and the quality of this is just as good. The material feels is soft and feels great against your skin. The logo quality is just as good with no fray edges or anything like that, its not extremely flashy but thats what i like. The stiching on it too is also first rate i dont see myself having any problems. Sizing issues it is certainly on the small end of the sizing specturm the large fits me fine but i am pretty thin yes it strechs but if your between sizes i would recommended the larger one. Onto the shorts

Shorts front

Shorts back

Close up of waist

Shorts i got were the non comp Jet shorts obviously in black.
Once again i was really happy with the price since i got these also on sale for 34. The shorts are even less flashy than the top with just small logos on the front left leg and the back of the waistband. I like if you want something flashy that will get attention look elsewhere. Comfort is first rate. i put them on to try them out and now i am just lounging around with them on like i do with basketball shorts. The enclosure set up is standard drawstring closing with velcro and a velcro flap that folds over. The drawstring is nice as i probably could have fit into a smaller size like a 31 or maybe even a 30 if i really wanted to squeeze, but with cinching the shorts closed with the string they fit plenty snug. That said i think they are pretty true to size i wear a 31-32 jeans and the shorts i would say are true to that size also.
If your between sizes i would say get the larger one and just cinch them unless you prefer having tight shorts i like my loose but personal prefrence. Let me just end by saying I couldnt be more pleased with the service i got with the price or with the quality of the items i received so to conclude NOGI ROCKS!

Dude, I got you beat. I ordered on 27 November in the afternoon (Sunday). I just got the box this evening 30 November (Wednesday) all the way out here in Washington DC. 2-day service by USPS Priority Mail is unheard of from CA to DC.

Yo that rashguard looks like it's made from the same company as naga gets their rashguards from. And I'm very pleased with their rashguards so that's a good thing.

True to there size , Chris was telling me that they usually run large. This is worrying me about the size 40 I am going to try

You should be ok like they are not excessivly large but they are on the high end like i siad i am a 31-32 and these are certainly 32 maybe a large 32 as long as you dont have a large cup or anything i think you should be ok with the smaller size

Well some jeans I can wear a 42, other a 44, but Chris said I could try out the 40's and see if they work. SO I am praying!

I've been meaning to try the loose fitting Sprawl, only because most rashguards run that way.
