You have a pic of your shorts Foppa? The lettering should be the same since it translates to Hayabusa

They've made quite a few improvements over last year's models. I think the quality and durability is better as well.

LOL, I'll try to elaborate a little if this is still confusing you. If you didn't buy them within the past few months, then you've got last year's models, the "Carbon Mechanix" shorts. The new "Kyoudo" shorts' improvements are listed in this thread, with a couple of guys posting reviews within the thread.

Aesthetically, design has changed a bit and the new shorts are all white or all black without a different color panel on the side like last year. Not too hard to figure out if you have the old shorts or the new ones as they don't even look alike on close inspection. Performance-wise, they've improved the waistband closure system and the material of the shorts, and the stitching has been reinforced as well. Basically, they addressed all the negative issues made about last year's shorts, and improved on them in those areas.

A review of the old Carbon Mechanix: Hayabusa Carbon Mechanix Shorts Review *pics*

Bought about 6 weeks ago. All white.

Funky drawstring system that I can't work out hahaha. Man I'm glad I don't usually do up the drawstring or else I'd be trying to work this one out for ages hahaha

I love these shorts. We carry them. Yes, they are a bit thicker than other shorts I've worn, but they do feel nice. Not to mention they're the best looking shorts I've seen. They fit pretty true to size, so if you're a 34 in jeans get a 34 in these.

They are pricey, but we offer them for 10% off to sherdog peeps, just enter the code SDOG when you check out, that puts them in the $50's instead of the $60's.

Thats what I do with mine. Machine wash in cold water and hang them up to dry.

I was planning on getting some soon, but Inspirit also came out with some new designs. Not rich mind you, I just find a way. Anyways, if I get these, I will definitely post up a review.
