New gameness gi design
I searched to see if anyone made a topic on this yet, but didn't find anything.
Today at my school, my instructor showed us a new gi from gameness that is kind of in between the single and platinum weave in terms of thickness. It has the shoulder patches of the platinum gi, but no other marking on the jacket other than a stripe that runs all along the bottom of the gi, kind of like the Atama, mundial edition. This same strip runs along the sides of the pants as well. The strip has a gameness logo every few inches.
Our instructor was saying it would cost around $110. Looked pretty good and we noticed that the jacket was made from 1 piece of material, so there were no seams.

I just picked up one of these yesterday from Budovideos.
The weave is pretty nice, very, very light and the collar is unusually thin for a Gameness. The gi reminds me a lot of a Koral in weave, weight and fit. I never thought I would buy a gameness but I like this gi a lot. Best of all, there is no back or lapel patch. I can deal with the shoulder logos. The pants are nice and thick and have the rope drawstring. They seem much better quality than the koral pants. I'm gonna roll in it tonight and let you know how it goes.
