NEW ATAMA Grappling Shorts

Has anyone tried the new ATAMA Grappling Shorts? I just ordered a pair. They seem nice!!

I've been balking at those for a while now. Atama has always delivered the goods, so I'm sure they're decent enough.
Anyone actually worn them?

They do have a split in the leg, you can see it better on the picture of the blue pair on their website

Are the ties on th velcro really necessary?

They do look pretty good. Let us know how they work out for you.

I just got mine yesterday. They look and feel very nice. Tons of room in the legs-high kicks are no problem. They seem fairly durable and the embroidery and screen printing looks great.

Plus, its kinda nice to have a pair that not everyone at the gym has*cough*Sprawl*cough*.

Also, ATAMA has wicked awesome customer service and fast shipping.

Note:they run a tad larger than I expected. I'm about 5'9", 160 lbs so I ordered Mediums like I always do. They fit and everything, but if you're smaller than me, go with the smalls.
