Need a MMA glove for competition!

I've searched around for a while and i'm finding plenty of information on MMA training gloves, but i'll be competing in an amateur mma fight in a month or so and i need a competition level MMA glove.

I'm leaning towards fairtex's NHB thumbless gloves, but i can't find what weight they are. Many of the gloves don't really say if they're for training or competition use so if you guys could recommend some gloves it'd be really helpful.

i think the fairtex glove is about 5 or 6 ounces and should be legal for just about any competition. if you like the fairtex style, but not the fairtex price you can get the ssf fairtex style glove which is an exact replica of the old style thumbless.

just a quick one. the padded gloves. For Example, Twins GGL-1 and Fairtex FGV-15 are 6oz. The other ones tend to be 4oz

Also check CSI.

How about these, they seem to be reg. competition gloves with the amateur color scheme. Regular size is 6 oz. while large are 7 so that will give you an estimate on how many ounces you'll need....

I use century mma gloves for every fight, they are cheap so you don't have to worry about loosing them "I lost a pair at a show once". To be honest I'll use the same glove for training and fighting, just makes things simple. The pair I have now is torn up around the wrists, I have to wrap them with tape to not scratch sparring partners, now that's what I call getting your moneys worth
