On the Fairtex gloves which style is better for wrapping your hands for competition and/or training ?

These

These

Or These

Is there any major difference besides the palm of the glove between these 3 ?

I have the fairtex NHB open thumb pair and they are great, I would recommend the NHB pair. Open or full thumb just to your personal preference.

So no completely open palm ? I just noticed on the ultimate combat gloves there is no leather on the bottom of the hand so it looks like your hand would move around alot in the glove. I will probably go with the open thumb ones in Black/Red.

dude honestly dont even trip on gloves, work on technique and conditioning, whoever you fight for will have a pair of gloves for you to wear, you just might hafta give em back at the end of the night

also, check out what ur training parters are using and try some different ones on, see what feels the best on ur hands

last but not least, steer clear of tapout gloves and stay away from "Official UFC gloves" sold at places like dick's sporting goods

Ordered the Fairtex gloves open thumb 2 days ago. I should have them next week. I still have 1 question, is the closure a single strap or is it cross directional like on Rival boxing gloves and the CSI Super Sleek Training Gloves ?

Thanks to everyone .

You might check out the ISCF rules before you get too worried about things of the such. Most venues won't allow the cheaper gloves (such as Century) and each venue and promoter has different rules regarding equipment; most are pretty lenient though. Some will provide you gloves, but as I've learned in the past, they might not always be in your size, so you might call and make sure that the gloves that you are going to use meet the requirements. You might also contact the sanctioning body of your fight and ask about their requirements. There's nothing worse than finding out the hard way.
