Need help with bags

Hi I'm currently having BJJ classes and I'm looking for a Bag to bang when I'm not doing bjj, I'm thinking about starting Muay-Thai or Kickboxing like next summer but I'm looking for a bag to workout at home.

So here's my questions:

- Should I go with a heavy bag or MMA bag (if yes 4 or 6ft)
- Should I get 12-14oz gloves or mma gloves 4-8oz
- What are the best quality/price brand for the bag you guys would recommand me?

I have a budget around 150-250$ max (if possible including the gloves and the bag)
Also I live in Quebec/Canada so If you guys know any online website where I could buy one for avoiding customs fee it would be great

Thanks

my suggestion would be to get a full length muay thai bag and some bag gloves

don't over analyze it if this is the very beginning stages of your training....you'll get the same benefits from nearly all of your options listed at this stage.
