Mouthguard Questions!!

so i recently picked up a brain pad double(best double IMO) and i was looking around and i saw that people soak there guards in listerine,gatorade, i was wondering does this really change the way the guard will taste? please tell me if there other ways to make the guard taste YUMMY!
Also over the weekend i will post a review of the Asics Matflex 2 and the Brain Pad Double!

Not really sure about Gatorade, but Listerine or Scope has worked for me, but then again I don't really have a problem with mouthpiece taste. Although the Listerine/Scope will be good for cleaning it a bit.
