what is the best strongman gear for a mma athlete (striking dominate). A friend of mine is a welder who can make me equipment.

What you mean stuff for strength training(if so Bacon has a thread going on making a lifting rack/cage over in strength forum) or things like bag frames or chinning bars etc etc?
