are Machado gi's any good?
im planning on buying a Machado gi. Has anyone ever had one? How are they compared to other gi's? Also, do they tend to be a bit smaller than Atama gi's of the same size? Thanks.

Try the G&E forum. Grapplers would be able to help but the guys there live and breathe gear. Which begs the question, how do we manage to find time to train????

Just to clear up some possible confusion: Machado gis are made in Brazil and, to my knowledge, are not affiliated with Jean Jacques, Rigan or any of the other Machado brothers that are Gracie cousins.
Sorry but I haven't seen many around and don't have any further advice.

I assume you're asking about MKimonos (Machado Kimonos). I have one and I love it. It's lightweight and durable. In addition, it's very comfortable. Personally, I think it's one of the best gi's out on the market.

If your talking about the MKimonos then they are excellent. I don't know about the Machado signature Addidas gi.

OMG Mkimonos are hands down the best gis in my opinion. i have the limited, the old model, and 2 others... my old one ripped but luckly i was able to get the same style since it was sold out for a couple of years. they remade another.
the first time i wore an mkimono, i knew that was the only gi i would ever want. i rarely train in it since i love it so much... its my competition gi.
