Icon9 Everlast Heavy Bag

First off, I know, I'm retarded for buying an Everlast bag in the first place. But I need some help. My leg is killing me. I bought a 100 pound heavy bag, thats perfect at the top. But, the bottom 2 feet of the bag was like concrete.
So I decided I'll flip it over, pound it out, and then tape it up real tight. Well, that worked, sort of. There is a circle in the bottom foot of the bag that feels like a sandbag. There is sand in it, I know because it leaked out every where until I taped the seam. But it feels like the people on the production line, instead of dumping the CONTENTS out in the bag, just tossed the whole bag in, which let the sand sit in that one spot, thus destroying my foot/shin or whatever gets in the way. Any suggestions?

I'll do anything, short of ripping that sum' bitch open and pullin that "bag" out.

What Everlast bag did you buy? I would get a hold of Everlast and let them know that you are very unhappy with it and maybe they will replace it. I've got a 150lb. Everlast leather bag and I think it's great. I had an Everlast 100lb. leather bag too and I gave that away to someone who needed a bag but I never had any problems with that either.

I dunno. It was like a synthetic leather bag, 100 pounds, bought it from Sports Authority. The top is perfect, but anything low was terrible, 'till I taped it. Now there is just this circle about 6 inches in diameter thats just solid, to the point where I dont kick it anymore cause it just plain hurts.

Sorry to hear about your shitty bag. I'd send Everlast an e-mail to let them know that you aren't so happy with the quality of their bag.

I currently own one and am happy with it. It's still rather new so it's not quite broken in yet but I kick it about 100 times a day no pads and it bruises my feet but it doesn't hurt to actually kick it. Mine is factory filled with rags so idk how yours had sand in it unless you repacked it but I haven't had any problems yet. It's the 100 lb. leather one as well.
