I would really recommend those SSF Red Thai Gloves, but mine are already starting to get screwed up, ive had them for about a month now, the leather peice that connects the thumb to the normal part of the fist is about 1 more sparring session away from being torn off. im actually not gonna spar with them so they stay intact for a fight next week.

I should let SSF know, but overall, there bad ass gloves.

Would it be ok if I used them one more time for my fight next Sat? If you would like I can send you a picture of what the glove (the left one) looks like right now.

Ill check into some overnight shipping to send them to you. For obvious reasons I would love to have these for my first fight. Only 16oz allowed for this smoker... and these babys will do some serious damage!

That's fine. Send them back when you get a chance.

I dont know if they are any good but you could go to a sports authority and get some everlast grappling gloves for around $25 -saves getting them on the internet

smash and grab brings up an excellent point in that you usually pay for what you get if you go cheap. In the case of Truth's gloves, however, you're almost committing a crime-- those gloves are flat out awesome. And inexpensive. I understand time is an issue w/ the OP, but I'd encourage anyone needing/considering mma gloves to check out Paul's gloves @ truth.

local sports shops should have everlast or harbinger gloves that can get you through, though.

I have the everlast grappling gloves and I like them. They are comfortable and similar in design to Fairtex. The only problem I have with them is that the velcro on the wrist is not strong enough so I just tape it.
