For anyone that could help me...
I just recently bought a 100 pound everlast Olympic punching bag. I got chains and the equipment, but when I tried to install it onto a board on the top of my garage it seemed a little awkward. I then began lightly punching it, and when i gave it a little power, the whole top of the garage began to shake.
Obviously its not strong enough to support the bag.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about making my own bag stand. I would just go buy one, but I cant really afford 100 dollars at the moment. I tried getting rope and wrapping it around the board but it did the same thing. Does anyone have any ideas for another spot where I could hang it, or a way that I can make my own?
I'm really pissed I cant use the bag right now. I'm training for a fight and would like to train at home but have been resorted to hit the gym back and forth.
