Was curious which one would be ideal for grappling and kickboxing classes with an occasional MMA fight here and there? Could you get away with the Hybrid or should i go with the Mega, and how close are the two in size comparison? If the Mega is NOT much bigger than i would just go with the Mega! What's the turnaround time on a mouthguard from biteme as well?

I believe the hybrid will do however if you expect to take lots of headshots on a regular basis in sparring go with the mega. I think generally the turnaround for their mouthguards is about a month, all depends on how fast you send back the mould.

I walk around about 180 give or take a few pounds either way.

Hmmmm... I'd go with the Hybrega, then.

Actually, you're probably ok w/ a hybrid. I've heard people recommend Megas for HW's and maybe LHW's. Just don't fight Phenom w/ it.

I'm getting one soon and I'm gunna get the mega. I'm around 200lbs though and will probably eventually get bigger.

Im a lightweight at 145 and I was recommended a hybrid. I ordered it so I will let you know how it fits wen I receive the item with pictures. I heard mega is sort of big in ur mouth.

Please do, I also fight at 145 and am looking at a bitme in the future, I'm definitally intrested in looking at pics and hearing about your experience.

Joe from Bite Me. Sounds like everyone knows whats up with the guards, your all right. If your a welter weight a Hybrid will work fine and a heavy weight go with the Mega. The thickness of the guards is about the same only difference is about 1/2mm thats it. Light weights can go with whatever guard they want . Thanks Joe, i order my impression kit today and plan on getting it right back to you ASAP. Hopefully i can get it back in time for my first fight which may happen on Feb 18th hopefully, but none the less i will post pics and a review myself if you guys are interested.
