Gear & Equipment Discussion Did I mention that the gear you use is cheap and flimsy?

Lined MMA Training Gloves?

Ok....it's possible that I am just a sissy....

I'm looking for MMA Training Gloves that won't make my knuckles raw after spending a lot of time hitting pads or Heavybag (not hitting full power on the bag).

I recently got the Fairtex gloves and they are chewing me up.
I have Everlast Premium Striking Gloves (The Gray ones) which are very comfortable but the stitching started coming out if them pretty quickly.
I like the inside of the Everlast Protex Boxing gloves a lot too.
I use the 14oz for heavy bag and training.

I've also liked Adidas Speed Gel Gloves but too thin for harder punching.

Any suggestions?
Thanks

John

if only someone would invent some kinda material that you could wrap around your knuckles and wrists to give you extra support inside a glove!!

come on mma companies figure this out!!!

Bag, pads, light sparring, hard sparring, it doesn't matter...always wrap!

My problem is that a good bit of my training is WITHOUT GLOVES.
I'm not full on MMA so Cloth wraps only work for me on days where I know I am sticking to gloves most of the workout.

Oh yeah...

Looking more closely at the Fairtex Goves, the STITCHING in the Finger Loops is what cut my hand at my Pinky (actually on both hands.

I train 4 or 5 days a week (teaching) so I need gear that doesn't wear holes in my body.
