Leg Lock instructional and Take Down instructional??

I'm looking for two decent instructionals (either books or DVD's as long as they're good). I need one with Leg Locks (pref. high %, not too complicated stuff) and take downs (same thing. basic, high % stuff). Hope you all can help.

i would say Mark Hatmaker's Takedowns book is a decent beggining. As far as leglocks its hard to say.

Just about any instructional with Gokor Chivichyan has numerous leg lock techniques.
You can go to www.gokor.com for more information.

Scott Adams/Chuck Liddell Hybrid Freestyle Leg Locks video is a very good place to start for leg locks. The techniques are fairly basic but they are the most high % techniques, Scott Adams explains all the techniques with excellent detail and it should be noted that I think all of his wins in MMA come from leg locks!

I'm not sure about the takedowns video, but as far as leglocks, what I'd HIGHLY recommend is the Vincent Fields leglock DVD. It is 2 DVD's, has over 135 techniques that are shown in detail in 82 chapters. Overall it is 2 hours and 37 minutes of footage with no replays!

He shows all sorts of entries, setups, defenses, counters and re-counters of your opponents counter attacks from every position. I highly recommend it and sell the product on my website: www.warrior-one.com.

If you want to save an additional $5 go to:

Take care,
