koral size shrink question

i just got myself a size A3 Koral Gi my height is 6ft and i weigh 195lbs the gi length seems to fit fine but the gi top is a bit baggy around the arms... should i try to shrink it with hot water and dryer or should i look into exchanging it for a smaller one?

Koral are preshrunk gis. You're probably off better seeking an exchange.

I was in the same boat when trying to decide what size to order.

I'm 6'3" 176lbs. So I'm kind of a "weird" size. I need longer pants but a tighter top with long sleeves. Hard to find gi's like that.

From what I could tell I would order an A3 top but A4 pants in a Koral (white) and shrink the top a bit by washing on hot and drying on hot. I know they say they are "pre-shrunk" but I have heard the white gi's will still shrink a bit if you wash/dry them.

If you got a colored gi I would doubt they will shrink anymore at all.

That being said......guys that are over 6 foot tall and under 200lbs really need an A2 with A3 lenght arms. Not A3 room though...just the length.

All said and done I didn't order a Koral. I had a friend of mine score an ISAMI gi from Japan. I hope it fits ok.....but I hear they have a better fit for guys my size.

Even preshrunk gis shrink a bit. I would try that unless it is really baggy.

Yep at 5-10 185-195 lbs with long arms the Koral has baggy arms for me.....(well sorta cause I've got guns) but the sleeve length is on the short side. The pants were fine. It'll shrink a bit I think...just a bit.
