Kikskin Kompetitor

I've been looking around for a new gi to use in competition, and I found this one.

I'm pretty much deciding between a Kikskin Kompetitor, or a Keiko Raca of some sort.

Anyone used the Kompetitor? Any info?

I've got it...

I ordered the A2 being as those were my measurements from SSF. They didn't have it in stock so Ron ordered the A2 from Kikskin. They asked my measurements and decided it would be a good idea to send the size up for they had someone with my same height/weight order it and the A2 was too small for them. Got the A3, tried shrinking it to size, it came in a lot in length... but everything else stayed the same. So now I wear a grossly disporportionate blue Kikskin that in the process of shrinking became rediculously stiff. It's sleeves and skirt are the same length as an A2 but the back and width etc. are all those of an A3. It would have been an excellent gi had I gotten the right size. Went back and ordered the single weave as a secondary gi thinking I could do the same thing. The single weave didn't shrink nearly as much as the Komp and now I'm stuck with 2 gi's that don't fit me too well...
If you plan on getting it, order your size and make sure you wash it on cold and hang dry.

Get a Koral. No BS shrinking or what not. If the gi doesn't fit on arrival it won't fit later on after putting it in the dryer. I hate the fact some gi companies that say they wont shrink but actually do. Sambo, what is your height and weight?

I've been doing a bit of thread reading on Gis the last few days and the Kikskin Kompetitor does seem to get a lot of recommendations.

BTW. MMAMuscle.com - did you get my PM-response on the 26th and 27th? Haven't heard back from you yet...

The Komp is a great gi.

Sambo234 I dind't know your gi didn't shrink right for you. I'm really sorry to hear about that. The new SSF Pro gi is sitting in customs right now and I'll work a deal for you when your ready.

Wow.. and the measurements for an A3 is 5'11" and 210 lbs. Man that sucks. Was that the same size as the single weave that you bought? You should've gotten an A2 or tried your luck with an A1. I think I'm gonna stick with Koral for gi companies to avoid stuff like that.
