Just ordered some Rival Super Bag Gloves

Anyone else try these?

I just ordered a pair and was wondering if others have tried these.

I have a problem with my knuckles being sore after heavy bag work, so I have been trying out a few different brands lately. I use mexican handwraps so that was never the issue.

Grant Traditional Bag Gloves. I used these for a bit....worked fine but very thin padding.

IMF Tech Bag Gloves. From the Grants, I moved onto these.

Heard good things about them and seem to have alot of padding, which I thought would help with the initial problem. It wasn't so in my case. I tend to think the increase in weight from the 6 oz. Grants to the 14 oz. IMF has just increased the shock through my hands.

I liked the light weight of the Grants (hated the slim padding), the protection of the IMF's (hated the extra weight and stress on the hands), so I am hoping the 10 oz. Rivals will put the two pluses into one perfect match made in heaven.

According to science, there is no way the "extra weight" could have "increased the shock"

Ty Mr. Science. Either way, the pain has increased with the use of the IMF's. Hopefully the Rivals will give better results.

I got them finally. Tried them out last night at the gym. Went through about an hour of bag work. Believe it or not, my guess was correct. It may not be the whole "shock" thing I mentioned, but either way, the joints in my hands hurt considerably less using these Rivals than when I was using the IMF's.

I have to say, these are the best bag gloves so far and I've tried quite a few, some I own, some I don't. These gloves conforms around my hands perfectly with 180" wraps. It was quite snug, with no play at all inside. They really give meaning to the phrase "fits like a glove". The hook and loop closure is very secure and it gave good wrist support. The "synthetic" material the gloves are made of felt a bit weird, almost rubbery, but they held up very well. Far more durable than what I suspected. The mesh palm helped with ventilation. It was very comfortable keeping these on for extended periods of time. The padding was less than the IMF's, but more than did there job.

Over all, a very good buy in my book. I would definately recommend these to anyone.
