Issue with leather on glove (Kings)

I always prop my gloves up against a fan after training to dry, but it has been really cold lately so I don't think they were able to dry fully enough, but anyway I just noticed the leather on the thumb of one of my gloves is all bumpy and fucked up. I'm assuming some type of nasty fungus grew in there. It doesn't smell bad or anything but the leather looks like shit. Is there anything I can do about this? Soak it in some anti-fungal chemical?

Here's pics:

has the feel of gloves changed since you noticed this? if not then it's probably just superficial wear and tear.

Sorry that was a picture with a cell phone so the resolution isn't that great. Basically, it looks like goosebumps on the leather, and it litterally happened in 2 days so I know it wasn't wear and tear. Everything with the gloves feels the same except for the texture of the leather on that area of the glove. The leather didn't come in contact with any chemicals either.

Its like a bunch of little bumps. Like the skin of a chicken. If you could ask that would be great. Also see if their is any solution to it. I'm pretty sure it was caused by them not drying thoroughly.

Their secret is out! They are in fact using chicken skin for their gloves...

That's happened to my gloves, too. It's caused by the sweat from your face. You're obviously training hard and keeping your hands up... good work.

Just clean the gloves with leather cleaner and rub some skin lotion on them, and they'll be fine.

To prevent the "chicken-skin effect" in the future, wipe down your gloves with a damp towel after each training session. That'll get the salt, etc off them.

AH! Ya that makes perfect sense. I'm always concerned about making sure the inside is dry and forget to clean the outside. Thanks for the tip, I knew there had to be an explanation...
