i'm a gameness whore (i've got a single weave and a platinum) but the isami is winning the race imo. i love the fact that you can customize the patches.

I just got my gi in the mail! That was fast. I ordered on the 15th! Gi looks and feels great. It's the Badboy Isami...which is a single weave. I bought an A4 and I'm looking to just blast them in the dryer to shrink them down. I'm actually an A3. The site even lists the shrinkage percentages! I'll have pics and a review up soon.

Im also very interested in getting the white Isami double weave gi....

I was hoping you could help me out a little Kid Dynamite...

Im 167 cm and about 75-76 kilograms...What size would you recommend for me?

different stores are using different sizing charts, unfortunately...

on chokesports.com and isami.co.jp i would get a 4L(keeping shrinkage in mind)....

but on other stores like hatashitasports.com , jujitsugis.com , discountmas.com , kodokangear.com ....they use the "A" sizing chart....In that chart, I dont know if I should get and A2 or an A3 (keeping shrinkage in mind)

So, what would you recommend?

also, while were at it, what would you recommend on the extras:

Sashiko fabric, Diamond fabric, or Hybrid fabric?
(i noticed that this choice can only be made if you order from isami.co.jp or chokesports.com)

What about patch color?

Id really like to thank you Kid Dynamite.....Ive been giving this matter much thought for some time now.....and youve really made my choice a lot easier for me

Sorry, I know this is an old post but I am really interested in this gi.

I had one question...How thick is the collar?

Size 4 or 4L, or maybe a mix of both. You should check the measurements chart on the ChokeSports.com page first because you can order jacket and pants in different sizes.

I personally prefer the JJ-410 Sashiko variation, but a teammate of mine recently ordered theJJ-400 Diamond and I was impressed with how soft it feels.

Also, I read somewhere that the collar is not a rubber collar. Can anyone give us more info on this?

Thanks
