iPods in the gym: Good or bad?

Weird/dumb question: I just got the armstrap iPod carrier so I can listen to music when I work out. Will the armband somehow effect my results in my arm? Also, feel free to discuss douche bags with iPods.

uhh....i'm gonna go with no unless you have it on so tight that you're cutting off the circulation to your arm.

effect the arm? hell no...unless like the above poster said..its on rediculous tight.but i think then you would know because it is uncomfortable...

and unless your ipod is flourescently colored, or your wearing short shorts...then you have nothing to worry about

well maybe for working out, but not for sparring or anything, its better then havin a cd player hanging at your waist, depending on which iPod you have it shouldnt be a problem, if you have the shuffle or nano, your good, if you have the regular or video iPod, yeah you'll feel it after a while

I would not roll with an ipod but I am thinking of mod-ing my headgear so that I can listen to music while sparring.....

iPods will make your testicles fall off...

Why do people need to listen to music all the damn time?
