IFL Jerseys... PART 2!!!!!

Hey guys, I'm sure that some of you remember I started a thread looking for any info on whether the IFL was going to start producing jerseys for this season's new teams. Well, I emailed them looking for info and after some time I got this informative replay:

"Hi Steve,
First and foremost – my apologies for the extraordinary delay in responding to your inquiry. We have been experiencing an incredible demand for our online products, and we have been working with a new licensee to produce more creative options for our many great fans, like yourself.
Currently, we do sell the team jerseys at our Live events, only. Any teams participating in the event will have a supply of jerseys for purchase. However, due to a transition in our current agreement with our manufacturer, we are outlining the details of offering these jerseys online as well. Any jerseys you have seen online in the past, were offered prior to our current arrangement. We are monitoring the progress closely, and hope to offer these jerseys online no later than August.
We apologize for the time it is taking us to implement the new agreement, however, we are very aware that our fans want these jerseys and it is our hope to make this happen as soon as possible.
We appreciate you, and your passion for the sport. Without fans like yourself we could not experience the explosion of popularity we are now enjoying. Please keep watching – and we hope to see you at an event soon!

Very best,
Jason Small"

There's something about that email that doesn't really make any sense... why, exactly, aren't they selling stuff online?

Yeah something about that email is confusing. Is full contact fighter not allowing them to sell the jerseys on ifl.tv? If that is the case why hasn't FCFighter put the new teams up on the site yet.

I think the jerseys made by FCF are unrelated... like, they had the original contract to make their gear and now once they are gone they are gone. It's the IFL's property so they should be able to do what they want with it, unless they signed some extra bizarre contract that grants FCF an exclusive online distribution deal or something.

The IFL may not have a clue about promoting, but apart from that they seem pretty business savvy so I can't imagine that's the case.

They need to hurry up. I want that newer-looking Silverbacks jersey that I've seen with the yellow trim.

I just got a Sabres jersey and a Pitbulls jersey. The brand new ones that they are selling at shows. The logos on screenprint, whereas a pro quality basketball jersey will have embroidered logos. In any case, these are *nice*. I'll have a more in depth review after I wear them a couple times.

Yes, Fairtex, and... I didn't pay for them, so... I don't know.
