for Fairtex gloves it depends on the feel or look you want.
for a regular boxing glove feel go for the BGV1 (tight fit design)
for a muay thai look and feel BGV4 (extra wide design)

For Fairtex shin guards I recommend the SP3 (instep double pad)

For groin I use shock doc compression shorts and switch out the flex/steel cup

Mouth guard I have a shock doc right now but, plan on getting a Protech

For MMA gloves I would get the Fairtex FGV12 they are much better then the FGV10

If you need more help just let me know.

wow thanks bro thats one perfect answer right there with model numbers and everything really really appreciate it!!

For groin is the fairtex foul proof groin protector pushing it? guessing you bought a few of the BasiX Compression Short with Protective Flex Cup for groin? or did you just buy a few flex cups? if you train few times a week i'm guessing you would want to switch out the shorts as well...unless i'm getting something wrong here...

i see for mouth guard that the fairtex one comes with a $12,000 dental warrenty and the shock doc one makes no mention of something like this. For $25 the fairtex one seems good for tha tkind of warrenty anyone know if it covers both top and lower? I will go with the FGV12 thumbless for MMA gloves

Yea shock doc mouth guards come with a warranty too just like the brain pad ones Fairtex sells. I like shock doc better. Oh and for the cup I bought the shock doc comp shorts with flex cup and a muay thai steel cup. I just swap them out between rolling and sparring. I only go once or twice a week to train so I just wash in between.
