how do i wash my earguard?

I searched the brute website, their FAQs and everything. Cant find it. I have a brute shockwave and i just noticed it smells. Last time i washed it with soap and water it didnt seem to do much, what do you guys recommend? i think throwing it in the washing machine might ruin it. Some guy from my school told me he used baby wipes or something but now that it smells i dont know what to do

With my new Asics one, I just throw it in the wash with my gi and rashguard since most of it is nylon. My old ones had nylon straps and coated foam. I used antibacterial wipes and soap on them but they really start to stink quick. My new one is holding up fine but if you are worried about "wrecking" yours, throw it in one of those bags for washing delicate items.

That is why I liked my old wrestling one. It was ****l, plastic, and a coated foam. It never really stank and I never washed it. I did have one that smelled bad. It would stay wet after practice.

The ****l ones are the best. ****l on the inside, classic style

I'm not to familiar with the Shockwave but if it's one of those synthetic earguards that are porous and kinda textile-like then do the freezer and Febreeze trick first and see if that kills the smell.

put it in the washing machine, on cold if you have too, or soak it in washing detergent, then rinse it thoroughly. wiping baby wipes on the soft material of shockwaves isnt going to do fuckall to clean them or get rid of the smell

i cant even believe you havent been washing them after every training.

some people are just dirty.
