Help with Gym Bags.

I need a gym bag to hold my gear, shin pads, headgear, gloves, etc. I don't know what size to buy. Medium is 12" x 23" x 11" but i'm not sure if that is big enough. Large is 14" x 26" x 13", worried it might be too big.

I have the medium team duffle and I really like it. Plenty of space for everything I bring to train, and I bring a lot of gear...

I have the largest sized HSU Judo bag there...it's made from singleweave gi material (tough as hell) and it's HUGE...plus, it "breathes"...so if you leave your gear in it and leave the zipper open or partially open, it helps air out faster than with a nylon bag...cheap, too, MUCH cheaper than the BJJ bags that are essentially the same things, but crazy overpriced...

Only thing is, it doesn't have any pockets...

BAD BOY GEAR BAGS AND BACKPACKS ARE VERY POPULAR, THEY ARE MADE FROM JIU-JITSU GI MATERIAL AND ARE 100% COTTON. DURABLE AND MACHINE WASHABLE

Taken from Badboymma.com

I have that same bag you showed and love it. Only complaint, it is a little tight trying to get 16 oz gloves, shin pads, and mat shoes in there all at once. Other than the size, it's great.

Actually, I don't...but I can get some...it's basically just a big duffel bag made of blue gi material...it's HUGE...I did a review of it in the review forum and mentioned that I packed for an entire 5 day cruise (with probably about 7 days worth of clothes and shoes) in it...

If I were to break it down to estimate how many BJJ kimonos/Judogis into it...it'd literally be like 5-7 BJJ kimonos can fit into it...

I have the medium (I believe he linked to the large) and I have no problems with shin guards, 12oz gloves, shooto gloves, VT shorts, compression shorts, cup, jumprope, mouthpiece, wraps, wrestling shoes, and earguards all at the same time, with room to spare.

it seems i can't post a new thread, but this thread is basically my topic so i'll post here:

I saw another member at my gym carry this bag the other day. I remember seeing the word "jiu jitsu" on the side of the bag, and I think (not positive) I saw "ouano" on the bag but a google search proved to be useless. I didn't think to ask him where he got it because I thought I'd be able to find it myself online.

Anyway, the bag was a black duffel that also allowed you to carry it on your back, via two shoulder straps. I have a similar bag from The North Face, but I stoped using it because there's only one giant compartment, which makes it a pain because I also carry a bunch of misc. items in addition to my gi. the bag also has some adjustable sidestraps to hold misc items like tshirt and what not. If nobody can identify this bag, can someone recommend me a duffel bag that can also be worn on your back, that has multiple compartments?

I'm looking for a duffel bag, not a backpack. I've checked several online vendors but have not found anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

PS - TGIF!

Picked up a medium Everlast duffel from Ross Dress for Less for $6. Holds shinpads, 16oz, headgear (wrestling and boxing), mma gloves, and everything else you might need. Couple mesh pockets on the side and one internal zip pocket.
