heavy bag v.s. thai heavy bag

I am looking into buying a bag for training using kicks and punches but which one would be best to buy, a heavy bag or thai heavy bag?

Thai bags are thicker in diameter than your standard heavy bag.

You need the banana bag if you want to work on kicks properly.

Thai bags are longer, so you can practice low kicks.

Thai bag for kicks all the way.....Like sir037 says for ground work you could get away with a decent sized boxing heavy bag
