Heavy Bag and stand

Whatsup guys,

here's the deal. I really want a heavy Thai bag for Christmas (I take MT and need a way to practice my punches and kicks at home), and I have no place to hang it. So I need to also get a stand. The problem: I have no idea about any of it. I really like the looks of the Windy Thai Bags, but I am not sure if that is the way to go. As far as stands, I really don't know what type to get. This is where you come in (hopefully you will give me better answers than "Use the search function").

Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

If you live in a place where you can screw into your wall, check out vjvj's review on a wall mount - There's a number of companies that make similar models. Title Boxing Heavy Bag Wallmount Hanger Review

The problem with your normal type of heavybag stand, is that they usually feature legs that come out to the side of the bag - which could be problematic if you're looking to practice some low leg kicks. So any type of system where you can find a way to hang your bag from a wall or ceiling would probably be best. Not everyone has the option to go f'ing up their walls though.

As for bags - I believe either CSI's or Ringside's powerhide (their synthetic leather) bag filled is on sale for $100. It's probably worth checking out.
