They will last for years. The straps at the top will rip before the bag.

BTW, I'm sitting in Narita Airport in Tokyo waiting for my flight to Bangkok...in an hour and a half!!!

Good luck Ryukyu . Hopefully you can post a couple of vids here . And the bag you posted . How heavy is it ? And any brands to recommend ? I don't care bout the money . I just want the best bag out there in the market . The biggest and heaviest and most durable .

OT - you think 5 weeks is enough? I mean I'm ok with the duration but I thought you need a month just to get acclimated? Any tips?

Reason I ask is I've really wanted to go to Thailand but at most I can take maybe 6 weeks off from work. I have been waiting for a break in my career to go for a whole 6 month - 1 year stretch.

That's the Fairtex 7ft Pole Bag. The pic I posted below his posts is the same bag, though it looks slightly different because of the stuffing/mounting. Bag weighs 250 lbs.

It's hard to get a visa more than a month ambertch . Thanks for the info crossdx but how heavy is it ? Anyway have any of you use the UFC MMA gloves before ? Take a look at UFC Official Fight Glove, Equipment , UFC Store ? Any comments on the UFC gloves ?

Not really - you can renew your visa pretty easily with a day trip out of the country
