Hand Wraps Question

So I have several mexican style wraps and well though I love them when I have time, sometimes im in a rush to get to class and I either have to rush my wrap and have it all sloppy or sometimes I use these short boxing wraps I have. My question is have any of you guys tried any of these wraps. They look alot quicker to wrap around your hand, but not sure if the wrist protection is the same?

If you have your wraps rolled up, it should only take 2 or 3 minute to wraps your hands.

The gel wraps are nice for padding over the knuckles, but they don't offer as much support around your hand as regular wraps do.

Just have your wraps rolled up and practice wrapping yor hands. It's really doesn't take long once you get the hang of it.

I know a couple people who swear by the gel wraps. Especially for a lot of bag work.

wraps are not really for cushioning your knuckles. They are to keep all the tiny bones in your hand in place so they do not break. Stick with 180" mexican style wraps. There are a ton of videos on youtube that will teach you how to wrap them properly.

Wraps are just as important as stretching. ALWAYS make time to do it properly. I am sure your instructors would have no problem with you missing a few minutes of class time to make sure your hands are wrapped correctly.

Myself, use Everlast gel wraps, becuase the bag I use is not well cared for, so I decided to use them. I also have 180's for when I use MMA gloves, and just use the gels for doing work with 16's. Mine actually give me a ton of wrist support.
