Gym Wishlist

Hey Guys,

I'm about half way through the planning process (I hope to start work on the gym late Dec / Early Jan) what id like is any suggestions on recommended kit you like to use or that just goes to waste in the place you train.

A sort of gym wish list or top 5 bits of kit / equipment you can't live without

Thanks in advance

What I'd really like is 2 bathrooms with showers. One restroom really sucks, and no showers sucks as well.

Other than that, double end bags at the gym would be nice. (just heavy and speed at my gym).

A climbing rope would be nice.

I don't care too much about dumb bells or kettle bells... I can do strength training on my own at a weights gym or at home.

I'd love to have a hook & uppercut wall bag where I train.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I plan on having 20 bags fitted from 55kg - 125kg. Along with 2 speed backs and 4 wall mounted upper cut bags.

Rope is something I'm looking at now, I have a maximum height of 45ft to place it but I doubt id go that heigh!!

Showers are something I'm thinking about, as I'm not sure if they would get used. When I used to box I never had the option so it never bothered me.

I can upload floor plans if you guys are interested or want to give any further feedback?

Uploading the plans would be cool. Where is the gym located? Best of luck with it.

Red : Bags
Red Lines : Uppercut Bags
Blue : Free Water
Green Square : Ring
Green Lines : Cage Wall
Grey Blocks : Weights, Rope etc
Light Grey : Locker Banks

Upstairs

The bit in red text is what I was thinking about changing it to instead of the proposed. Upstairs "store room" is now going to be let out to physios and sports massages to get a bit of extra income in and to offer a perk to the higher paid monthly subscriptions

If you guys click here you can see how it looks now! As you can see from the photos a fair bit of work!

Love the idea of a climbing rope

and it would be nice if you took down the upstairs wall that is hanging over the lower level and put up rails, would make it seem bigger

Also maybe move the office upstairs and put the changing rooms downstairs... seems a little silly to have people go upstairs, change, then go downstairs to train
