Grant campeons crapped out!!

so i have had fairtex the black sparring gloves and they lasted a year and a half they are still my mitts gloves....

i also got the 16oz mexican cletos with velcro and they are my best gloves however i tried some of those grant campeons and liked the fit very snug so i thought they would be sweet for sparring with takedowns....however the liner ripped....and customer service wont email me back so dont get those campeons is my best suggestion to anyone......get cletos or winnings no matter what....

My buddy had to get his replaced 3 times. The 4th time he simply gave up and used Ringsides. They are definatley hit or miss. He emailed the grant customer service and they took care of him.

yeah i e-mailed them 2 times in the last 10 days.... a friend had a pair and i tried them and they were fine i used mine for about 8 hrs total and the liner ripped at the end on the fingers....i like using different stuff always looking for something better but now i know what im gonna stick with....luckily the guys i train with are pro mma guys and the others are thai fighters from bulgaria they only require you wear gloves....so the cletos being tough on your partners only seems to apply to guys who havent been in alot of fights...at aleast at our gym..

Sorry to hear about your Campeons, but I remember hearing quality issues like this a while back in an older thread.

As for Cletos used in sparring, it's more of a courtesy thing in the end. If both are using Cletos and headgear, it should be fine, but if one guy is using a softer glove with more padding, then he might feel like he's getting the short end of the stick in the exchanges. Also, headgear when sparring with Cletos is mandatory because they can cause cuts more easily than softer sparring gloves.
