Hey all,

I know Redstar has been a topic of interest for some of us around here so I went ahead and set up an interview with Egor, CEO and founder of Redstar.

I own a Blue Redstar Gi and I LOVE it!

I'm 6'2" and weigh about 188 lbs, tall and thin build. The A3 is a perfect fit. Everything about the fit is great.

It's continues to get softer and softer everytime I wash it. (cold water wash and air dry in the dryer or hang dry)

Highly recommend a REDSTAR Gi to anyone.

I love my Redstar as well. I can't wait to get my hands on my Shoyoroll to compare them. I was SO close to buying a Mundial 9 from MMAWarehouse on black friday but I decided I didn't really need to spend another $130 lol.

I ended up buying the Keiko Raca Black limited Edition Gi from Budovideos over the weekend...15% off, can't beat that.

I really wanted to just buy the Black Redstar, but thought I should try out some other brands to see what else is out there.

I WILL buy another Redstar at some point...I noticed in the interview with Egor that he said a new and improved version will be coming out soon. I'll just wait on that one.

Hey Codysweet...did Egor mention what the changes were on the Black Gi?

To me it looks like a newly designed patch along the lapel and the added stitching on the knee pads. Other then that I don't see any difference then the Blue Gi I own.

I believe these are the only changes and that Redstar has a new gi in the works. Let me try to drag Egor in here to get you guys a solid answer on that one though.
