I am anxious to hear peoples reaction to this gi as well. I am skeptical, but not in a bad way. Just want some opinons before I shell out the doh, as all the gi's I own are very well known brands.

The gi is great and the material is super comfortable. My training partner got one and I tried it on. I was expecting it to be very rough, but it is actually quite nice. I should note that it is actually a mix of hemp and cotton (like 70-30 - correct me if I am wrong about that ground force), so that probably helps as well.

I posted some thoughts on this thread:

Hemp gi news?

I will get my training partner to type up a review soon and post it for him on the boards. Let me also say that he has been treated very well and that ground force's customer service is great.

thanks Scorcho,
the top is 100% hemp, canvas weave (12oz. per linear foot) the pants, belt, and collar, are 55%hemp/45% cotton twill weave(10.5 oz.) the cotton gives the pants some flexibility. Hemp does not stretch.
