Fairtex Shin Guards - Where do I buy..

I've looked so many places for these (Fairtex shin guards)..other than the actual Fairtex website I can't really find these anywhere. A heads up on where to get them would be much appreciated

Thanks,
Kyle

I've been trying to find out what shin-guards to get all day, read a lot of reviews, etc. Throughout the forums Fairtex keeps coming up over and over again, so this is why I decided to get them - but as they're so hard to find, who knows now.

I know http://www.combatsports.com/detail_tuf.aspx?ID=22281 these have gotten good reviews - but they're for grappling; I need shin guards for MUAY THAI sparring. Are these CS shin-guards good for MUAY THAI or what? I don't know whether to get the Windy, Fairtex, or Combat Sports (and I've read a lot of forum posts, so please don't say to go research - because I have -_-).

Heard really good things about the SSF guards. And Ron has been a great guy to deal with! Since when I spar and go to the ground I decided to get the CSI grappling guards, so they would stay on me better. But yeah everyone has been saying very good things from the SSF guards. Said to be very high quality!!

I like that they're black (really wasn't liking the red color in the CS ones). I was wondering a few things about these, though. Do they aid in conditioning your shins at all? My ideal shin guard would be something that protects me but hardens my shins at the same time. Also, I'm 6'2" 160 lbs - would I be a LARGE or EXTRA LARGE. I'm aware on the SSF site it mentions LARGE for people up to 175 lbs, but I'm pretty tall so I was wondering if their is an exemption with that.

Also, how long is shipping to Canada (Toronto, ON) for these SSF ones? And does SSF accept Paypal?

Anyways, I'll take these into consideration..still looking for Fairtex, though.

Thanks =)

Very first link that came up when I googled 'fairtex shin guards' - Crazy, huh?
Shin guards are shown underneath the boxing gloves.

Yeh but they're so damn pricey - $81 US after shipping. But that's the same price as Fairtex official site so oh well. I'll try and go for something a little more budget, I guess.

SSF, Windy, or CS I suppose. Thanks.

I am curious as to why all the things you want are Fairtex.

I have heard that the Combat Sports shin guards are not the best because after not too long of use the seems in the back start to split. They do probably stay on better than the SSF because they are like a sleeve on your leg, but still I would rather have something that lasts longer but a little less comfortable, than a comfortable thing I have to replace/fix often.

I think you would be better off with a large. There isn't much difference in the lenght of the pad itself, it's more the lenght of the straps.

Shipping to Canada is under $12.00
