shinguards how hard can you go ?

how hard can you go with shinguards? what do you guys think are the best ones?

Prety much full force depending upon the shin guard.Of course if you insist on getting caught upon the thigh or head its still gonna hurt ...!

What are you gonna be using them for also makes a difference.Purely stand up or will you be training stand up and ground work together?If you doing both you may want some that are thinner and neoprene backed rather than some that have straps as a fastenening system.

I have these:

TapouT MMA Grappling Shin-Instep Guards from Combatsports.com

They are great for just pure standup or MMA training and my partners and I WAIL on each other and it doesn't hurt one bit.

I use the combat sport shin instep with the neoprene back for MMA . we spared yesterday in class !! but man my shins are hurting (no to sound like a bitch )just wondering if maybe some one who recomend a better shin guard!

The ones I have a much denser padding, a lot of ppl at my school have the ones you are talking about, I've felt the difference.

You can kick harder and feel less shin pain with them.
