I have a Dragao Arm-Lock gi, Atama Mundial #7 and #5, and a Koral Ultra-light. Dragao is the best one of them all in my opinion. It is a relatively thick gi but it feels more like a gold weave to me. The cut is perfect for my body, I wear an A2 and I'm 145lb 5'11" (skinny teenager). The pants are a little baggy and thick but no more than the Atama ripstop pants (first version) and won't rip for a long time. The collar is not as wide as my Atamas but it is hard as hell, no rubber or EVA foam just cotton. Everyone at my school says my gi is the hardest to get a hold of but it's certainly not sand paper on the skin.

Seriously, Dragao make some of the best gis out there, they will last a very long time and I think they are very classy. If you order some make sure you get extra Arm-Lock patches because BTfightwear is sold out and Dragao's website doesn't even have them for sale, yet I always see the Mendes brothers decked out in sweet Dragao gear. Next gi I get is going to be one of their gold weave series, I'll review it if I do get one.

Fuck it, put me down for a white Arm Lock, A2.

Born to die, you sold me on this one. I'm hoping you've finally found a good gi to fit my skinny ass.

I'd definitely be interested in one of these in A2 170 cm:

Dragao and Krugans were the very first companies to make kimonos specifically for BJJ back in the 70's.

I also have a Krugans lightweave gi, the cut in the armpits and torso is similar to my Dragao but the mouths of the sleeves are quite wide, the skirt is a tad longer and the collar is just stupidly thin. Be careful of the sleeves on the Dragaos, I just barely make the 3 finger IBJJF standards; then again I have pretty long limbs for my body.

A good friend of mine has the girls gi in blue, she loves it and it is VERY soft for the weave.

The difference between the adulto and extra is simply size, extra is for the big fellas and adulto are the average sizes. Not sure why they separated the two and didn't just add another selection or two to the sizing list.
