I use the black hayabusa shin guards for kickboxing and they work great with no movement

Do the Hayabusas have a design feature of some sort that doesn't have them ripping around the achilles tendon area because of the heel when you put them on?

Please check these out:

Cageside MMA Shins

Video showing details: Cageside Shin Review

I honestly think they are the best shins on the market for MMA.

They are really comfortable and functional. I dont worry about wearing them being on hope I remember to take them off when leaving class. So I wont be driving around in my car wearing them

You Have to be careful taking them on and off I did get a tiny tear. Bue I tried to snatch them off like a sock

I know you said you were looking for MMA shin pads, but Windys makes a real slim pair of muay thai ones.

Those look really good, esp. for the price. I like the video review too. It's nice to see them in action and not slipping.

They look nice, but I would think that when grappling, the straps would catch on your partner, and peel open.

I was thinking that might be a problem as well. The video is fairly short, so there isn't really enough time to see, but from what grappling they did it seemed fine.

I have been training in my pair for 5-6 months and that has not happened to me once.

The reason I designed them with the open back (well, the main reason) was for easy on and off, plus the ability to loosen/tighten them to your liking.

The CSI ones are good - don't get me wrong, but if you have them with a snug fit - and you are trying to get them off after training - it can literally be torture. You are so darn tired you can hardly stand up - then you have to deal with your shin guards not wanting to come off. Our shins also offer a thicker/better shin protection than ANY mma shins I have come across.

Thanks!
