Som Chai Thai/Mexican style wraps are the best I have used. They are 210 inches long, thin and stretchy like fight gause, and are priced right.

Mexican are stretchy, can be wrapped tighter, but are not as durable over time as the cotton wraps.

i know a lot of people who prefer the cotton push their students to get them, and other clubs i deal with are the opposite. so i guess i doesn't really matter it up to you which ones you prefer

mexican for sure!!!! elastic ones i get the best support over cotton.

I bought a pair of twins cotton wraps and it was like having toilet paper on my hands.....it was hard to get good support on the knuckles and wrists

I hated them and put them in the bin.

edit ~ I ve had this one pair of mexican wraps for 2 years and they are in very good condition....I haven't found durability to be an issue yet.

yeah i never had any issues myself but if you look at both side by side you can tell the cotton are normally heavier and thicker, that's all i guess if a well maintained Mexican wrap can last 2-3 years then a regular cotton pair should last longer. Then again these are just cheap items so it really doesn't matter just use what you prefer, my suggestion is buy both and go with the ones you like and then garbage or give away the pair you don't like

Elastic baby! I started out with the non-stretchy cotton wraps, but when I discovered elastic wraps, never again.

GFG makes a good point, it's not like they're very expensive items. If you have 2-3 pairs of elastic handwraps, they'll last for a long time. If you have to replace them, then it's like 12-15 bucks...

I'm a gear whore, so I've got a dozen different pair of wraps to play around with, and I can give my bits on a few of them.
Everlast Mexican Style 180 wraps are my favorite. They're good and thick, with a quality enclosure and a real nice weave. They stretch well and keep tight. The thumb strap on them is just right.
Everlast Cotton 120 wraps are probably my second least favorite. They're thinner, no stretch, crappy thumb loop and they're kind of heavy. They last fairly well though, and they roll up nicely. I think any wraps at 120" are way, way to short though. My hands aren't giant, but they're not small. I'd prefer something like a 210", but nobody makes it, that i Know of.
Title Platinum Hand wraps: these are the my least favorite I've used. They're 160s, so the size is okay, but they're wicked uncomfortable. The site says they're "just slightly stretchy" and that is a load of shit. These things feel like cardboard wrapped around my knuck's. They lay flat and heavy, and don't really form to your hand, like even cheap cotton wraps do. I really dig the line down the middle of these, and the hook and loop is pretty good. The thumb loop is kinda crappy, but the weave is pretty nice.
Title Classic Mexican wraps: These are actually really nice, but they're only 160s. If they were 180" i'd probably buy a lot of these. They're not super-tough though, so they won't last as long as, say, the Everlast Mexicans.
Title Mexican Style hand wraps: These are like a cheap-ish version of the Everlast Mexicans. They're 180 and a nice thumb loop. The hook-and-loop is kinda odd though: it's a lot bigger than all the others on my list, and I'm not sure I like it as much. The weave isn't quite a good as the Everlasts, and they probably won't last as long. Still, these are the second best type I have.

I'm going to order some of the Bad Boys, Warriors and Rival wraps. Hopefully they're at least as good as the Everlast ones, as they're more expensive.

I've used about 8 different brands of wraps and I have to say that the Top King ones are my favorite. They're elasticated and feel very light and mold to your hands extremely well.

I also had the Twins and didnt like those at all.

Got some Fairtex ones which were nice and fit very well, but found them kinda thin. Im using Bad Boy ones, that fit very good, and are a tad thicker than the Fairtex ones.

My order of preference is:

Bad Boy
Fairtex
Twins

I got some Top King ones on the way, so lets see how those do.
