Affliction Board Shorts?

Up until a few months ago, I was a supporter of affliction. I'm guilty of owning two of their shirts that now collect dust at the bottom of my dresser. Let it be known, there has been a plague that has hit the New Jersey-area with extreme force. If you happen to enter any mall in this state, you will quickly notice the large amount people sporting affliction and tapout gear. So I'm not one to bash someone for not training, but willing to support an MMA brand (sort of).

Ok, so the point of this post isn't to bash affliction but to find out your thoughts on these bad boys:

Cheers.

ahaahahahahahaha. $75 for boardshorts that you can't even train in because of all the ****l on them.....yea ok. Seriously if I see anyone with these at my gym I will fall over laughing. Hell if I was loaded I would buy some (a different model) to wear to the beach but that is a big "if".

For kicking around i thought they would be fine...(not my style, but to each his own)
But than i saw the price tag...$75! And that is not even including shipping!
So i would say NO WAY!

For rolling/sparring/training/fighting
-As has been mentioned above, there is so much crap on them i do not even think you could use them
-no internal draw string, i would assume that for $75 one could at least get an internal drawstring
-no elastic waistband, again another big draw back, and for $75 bucks...i would say look elsewhere!

I here that Sprawl has some new shorts out though

Ugh... They look just as hideous as some of their shirts.

I'm glad everyone else agrees that these are simply horrible; and I cannot wait to see all the Benny's at the beach with these this summer.

Maybe I'll change them to a grappling match

i'd be too scared to get blood or even sweat on them! $75 is harsh to train in for shorts!
