Can you wash handwraps without a mesh bag?

If I just put them in the washing machine straight without a mesh bag, would they be damaged or will they be fine?

Thanks.

They'll be fine. I've washed the same handwraps in the washer and dryer for over 3 years and they are still fine.

THey will be fine. Only thing you gotta watch out for is that they dont get wrapped around the bottom of the middle whatever it is in the washer. Can be a bitch to untangl ethem and take them out. You could always put them inside an old shirt and tie it up or something. I only had them get caught up on me a couple of times and its not a big deal, just a pain.

Alright, and does the water affect the velcro part in anyway?

One thing that I would suggest is to wash the wraps with similar color.

For instance, don't wash brand new RED wraps with white clothing. Some wraps may bleed the first couple of washes until the color sets in.

You can get a mesh bag pretty cheap at Wal-Mart. We also sell them on our site:
Handwrap Wash Bag * Laundry Bag

put them in an freakin pillowcase that you dont care about (in case they bleed) and tie the end.

I have before and they would get tangled up on the spindle in top load washers. Would probably be fine with front loaders.

I just hand wash mine. I do it when I'm taking a shower, lol. I'm also of the opinion that they'll last longer this way... I guess that matters to me.

And yeah, if you get red wraps, you might want to hand wash a few times. They bleed a LOT. Even new black wraps bleed a bit.

Yeah, unless you like pink do not wash whites with red wraps.
