Brain-Pad WPR-300 Review

I love this thing so much, I had to write a quick review.
Purchased it last week, got to me very quickly.

Fitting was easy enough, initially made a mistake because it seemed to fit lengthwise and I didn't trim it, but eventually had to cut a quarter inch off the back.

Now, to the feel... it's big. It's weird, at first. The biggest issue I had the first few hours spent with it in my mouth: DROOLING. Never had a top-bottom mouth guard before, I felt like I was producing 10x the amount of saliva, and it was all coming out! Well, it's gotten a little better since, but I still drool, and I'm getting used to it.

What matters though: this is the most comfortable breathing & most headache-preventing mouth guard I've ever used! I was never able to fully bite down on my old mouth guard as it was impossible to breathe right otherwise. With the Brain Pad, I can bite down somewhat strong, and I breathe better than without mouth guard. I feel like my air ducts are being pulled open by the mouth guard, and more air goes through easier. Regarding headaches: haven't had one since I started sparring with this mouth guard (3 sessions so far). It's amazing. I used to get real bad headaches following my sparring sessions, just long constant dull migraine-like headaches, and those are gone. During sparring, too, I feel like I can take more of a hit without getting dazed.

Conclusion: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Love this mouthguard!

Are you sure it isn't still too long?
I cut mine too short...but I'm not drooling and it doesn't seem like a BIG guard.

I'm not doing hard sparring where my head gets a beating so it's fine for me still.
Just doesn't go all the way to my back molars

*Could* still be too long, not really sure, but I'm dealing with the drooling issue.
According to the fitting instructions it's already too short because those instructions claim the guard should cover the molars as well, and mine are already slightly uncovered. I might shorten it just a little more, but honestly, I've come to deal with the drooling, no probs.
