Sprawls come in 28.Truths smallest is a 30".And one of our other females on here is very keen on Nogis(as am I with 4 pairs of them)

I use regular boardshorts all the time during training. They aren't a bad alternative to actual MMA shorts, but for competition I'd use the real thing.

In competition, are you supposed to wear your shorts 2 inches below the belly button?
my belly button is higher and when i bring my shorts up, it looks really weird and too high... any help is great, thanks

You should check out the Premier Fighter board shorts while they are still on sale. I have two of them and they are great. Note: the all black pair has a split seam and flex panel. Premier Fighter - Board Shorts

I don't know if there's any set rule in MMA for how high you're supposed to wear your shorts, but I've seen them worn at varying levels so I don't think there's any. In No Gi BJJ tournaments, I wouldn't know, as I've never competed in any.
