Grey combinations are always good.

Or Flag boardshorts? I don't think I've seen any boardshorts based on national flags before... but I have seen Thai shorts.

Alternatively there's not many purple fight shorts about however after the Pulver/Arai fight in PRIDE quite a few expressed interest in shorts of that colour.
