Best sparring gloves?
I am looking to pick up a pair of good sparring gloves that are easy on my hands / partners face. Any suggestions for something around 80-100$?
Thanks

For that cost, I don't think you can go wrong with Ringside IMF Tech/Ultimate Classic, or Fairtex BGV1 (training gloves) or BGV5 (sparring gloves).
I'm also liking my Hayabusa 16oz Pro Sparring gloves so far. Will have a review maybe by the end of the month.

Just the Hayabusas and I'm getting the Fairtex BGV5s soon. I also have the CSI Thai style training gloves, which I use for bad/pad work. And as you know, I'm getting a pair of Cleto Reyes gloves in about a month or so.
I recommended the others based on reading a lot of posts on them here on G & E. I read a lot of threads here in my spare time for "research", lol. The search function is my friend.

I always hear Fairtex, SSF, Windy, Twins & KO Fightgear thrown around for sparring purposes, but noone has really thrown them out in this thread. Am I missing something?

The fairtex were mentioned as for the others the SSF's windys and KO's those are great gloves for the money but if you are willing to spend 100 bucks or so there are slightly better gloves out there

Yeah, I mentioned Fairtex in my first post. I didn't mention the other Thai brands and the lower costing gloves not because they aren't good, I hear and read a lot of good things about them too, but because I think for the budget of the TS, Fairtex is the best pick among all those you mentioned.
If he were on a tighter budget, I'd gladly recommend those brands as great alternatives to Fairtex, and some people actually prefer them. Just my 2 cents.
