people seem to prefer gold, i think single weaves are fine too. This is for bjj. For judo, i think people use the double weave more. Anyway, it is all on your preference, some gis are harder to grip but are heavier while others are easier to grip and are lighter. It is all upon your preference, but single,double,gold,hybrid should all get the job done.
