(Another) Bag Glove Thread

I am looking to buy a pair of 12 oz. bag gloves. The ones I'm looking at are either the Ringside Super Bag Gloves, IMF Tech Bag Gloves or the Pro Training Mexican-Style Gloves from Fairtex, in order of ascending price.

I'm willing to shell out cash for quality, but would the big jump in price from the Super Bag Gloves to the Fairtex gloves be worth it? The FT gloves are a bit expensive for me, but ATM I have a possibly discounted source. I was wondering, because Fairtex is known for Muay Thai gloves, but I would be using these for purely boxing.

Moreover, I may need a new pair of sparring gloves, just for boxing training. Would the Fairtex sparring gloves suffice. As these are just for boxing, I don't need any contouring to fit for Thai clinch work, so will these gloves' shape work?

Ringside's having a big clearance sale at the moment so i'd probably go with them. Especially if you want sparring gloves...their top of the line "Ultimate" ones are like 50% off.

I just bought the gel shock bag gloves from them....hopefully they don't suck.

I love my IMF Tech gloves, the foam in it, while I can't really describe why, is drastically better than the Super Bag gloves I used prior. Night and day difference, to me.

no experience w/ fairtex, though. sorry.

I've heard great things about that IMF foam. I know more and more of their products are switching over to it.
