Whey protein

Just wondering if anyone who works out and takes Whey protein noticed a significant difference in muscle growth and how long it took to see these results. Debating whether or not its worth it. I have been working out 5 days a week for almost a year now, mostly arms chest shoulders back and abs stuff. I have gained around 15 pounds of muscle so far which im pretty happy about considering how little body fat i have, but im trying to speed up the process a bit without anything stupid like roids.

Start training your legs and you will "speed up the process" very, very much. Can you say roidlike results?

Anyway...whey protein is good. I would reccomend you post your diet so we get an idea of how much you eat. Also, work your legs. Don't be one of those chicken legged bitches in the gym.

First thing to consider when looking at supplements: is the rest of your diet in check? plenty of fruits and veggies and lean meat and water? A good diet should be the foundation. Supplements are like shingles, or vinyl siding, or those little lawn gnomes.

that being said, i like whey, and i find it helps.

Whey is not some kind of magical powder any more than a can of tuna is. Yeah believe it or not your legs are good for more than getting you from the curl station to curl station. If you to see the magical formula for gaining muscle it is: eat right and don’t neglect your legs.

You'll probably find more info over in the diet/supplement forum. Still, there's probably no shortage of folks over here who have some sort of whey supplement in with their diet (myself included).
